Dr. Jie Gao and Dr. Xiaodong Yang, both assistant professors of mechanical and aerospace engineering, had research featured in Nature: Scientific Reports this past September. The article is titled "Ultrasensitive detection and characterization of molecules with infrared plasmonic metamaterials." Fei Cheng, a visiting scholar, also co-authored the article.
